If you wish to pay by bank transfer, you must use the dedicated Mangopay function. Contrary to paying by credit card or using a direct payment method, this payment method is not immediate. Payment may take up to a few days and will therefore be delayed.
Condition : the option to credit your balance via bank transfer is only available if you have a euro account.

📌Steps to follow to pay by bank transfer
- Go to the page "My purchases: To be paid"
- Find the transaction and click on "Pay"
- Choose a delivery method
- Under "Select your payment method", choose "Bank transfer"

Carefully read the instructions displayed, as they allow you to make the transfer via your bank. You can print this information by clicking on the icon
Note : The IBAN provided for the transfer is personal to you. The transfer is not carried out automatically. You must complete it yourself through your bank by following these instructions.

⚠️ Please read before making your bank transfer
Before confirming your bank transfer, please check the following two items:
- ✅ The 5-digit payment reference
- ✅ The payment amount
🔑 The payment reference is essential
The reference is a code that must be entered when making your bank transfer. It consists of 5 digits and is displayed when you select bank transfer in the payment request.
This reference is mandatory and unique to each payment request. It enables us to identify your payment and match it to the correct payment request.
Depending on your bank, this field may also be called: "transfer reference", "reference number", "reference code", "message to the beneficiary" or "transfer description".
Please make sure to enter this reference exactly as provided.
✅ Correct payment reference
Your payment will be processed normally.❌ Missing or incorrect payment reference
If the reference is missing, incorrect or has already been used, the payment cannot be matched to your payment request. It will be automatically rejected and returned to the bank account that made the transfer. This process may take several days.
💶 The amount must be exact❌ Amount lower than the requested amount
If the amount is lower than the amount specified in the payment request, the transfer will be automatically rejected and returned to the originating bank account.✅ Amount higher than the requested amount
If the transfer amount is higher than the amount requested, the payment will be validated and the difference will be automatically refunded to the issuing bank account.Once the transfer has been processed by Mangopay, the payment will be credited to the seller and the payment request will be marked as paid.
