When you receive a refund, how you can view and collect the amount depends on the payment method used at the time of purchase.
Payment made through PayPal
If you paid your seller using a PayPal-linked method, the refund will be handled directly by PayPal.
We invite you to log in to your PayPal account to:
- Check that the refund has been made
- Recover this amount
Delcampe is not involved in the processing of PayPal refunds.
Payment made through our banking partner
If you used a method linked to our banking partner (credit card, debit card, or Delcampe balance), the refund is managed on Delcampe from the "Payments" page.
Full refund
The refund is always made using the payment method originally used at the time of payment:

Payment from your Delcampe balance or by bank transfer
The refunded amount is added to your Delcampe balance. You can use this amount for your next purchases on the site or transfer it to your bank account via the “Withdraw” link available on the "Payments" page.

Payment by card or other direct method
The amount is automatically returned to the same payment method. The refund period may take up to 14 business days depending on your bank. On your bank statement, the refund will appear either as a cancellation of the original debit or as a debit followed by a credit.
In this case, the refunded amount is not added to your Delcampe balance.
Partial refund
Regardless of the payment method used initially, the refunded amount will be added to your Delcampe balance. You can use this amount for your next purchases on the site or transfer it to your bank account via the “Withdraw” link available on the "Payments" page.
