I made a lower bid, what happens next?

Lower bids are valid for 3 days. During this time, the seller can either:

• Accept your bid
  If your bid is accepted, it will no longer appear in my lower bids. It will be added to the page " My purchases".
  
  
• Accept your bid as the starting point for their auction
  The seller can accept your bid and put the item up for auction. Your bid will be the starting price. The sale will last 3 days. Your lower bid will no longer appear in your lower bids. It will appear in the page "My bids : Ongoing"
  
  
• Make a counter-bid
  The counter-bid will appear in your lower bids. The counterbid will last 24 hours.
  You can accept or refuse it by clicking on “Answer”
  
  
• Refuse your bid
  The message “Refused” will appear clearly in red.
  If your bid is refused, you can click on Place a new bid
  
  
  
  
• Ignore your bid
  The seller is not required to reply, the status of your offer is "Pending" for a maximum of 3 days and then "Expired".
  
  
  

  Note that your bid may be cancelled automatically if the sale is won by another member or expires.
  Any offer cancelled or ignored will disappear from the "My bids: lower" page after 7 days.
