Choosing the right general settings for your Delcampe account is essential for an efficient use. These choices also enable you to customize your account settings.
The section "Use of the website" allows you to set or modify the following settings:
- Your preferred language
- Your time zone
- Converter currency
- Contrast and readability of the site
- Login to your account from a specific location
Preferred language
This choice determines the language in which the website will be displayed, but also the language in which you will be contacted by Delcampe. You can choose among the six main languages of the Delcampe website: English, French, Spanish, Italian, German or Dutch.

- Select your preferred language in the drop-down menu

Time zone
It is important to select a time zone that matches your location to ensure that the time displayed on the sales page matches the time at home.
Once you have selected your time zone, please login again, so that each time displayed on the website will be converted to the selected time zone.

- Choose the time zone corresponding to your location in the drop-down menu

Converter currency
Your choice determines the default currency used in the currency converter on the website. For example, if you choose the euro, a sale in US dollars will be displayed with an indication of its value in euros.
- Go to the page My settings: General settings
- Choose your currency in the drop-down menu

Tip: the converter calculates automatically on the basis of the exchange rate of the day. The converted amounts are preceded by the indicator +- : You can also change your currency at the botton of each page:
Contrast and readability of the site
In comfort mode the contrast and legibility will be increased. This display is particularly recommended if you want to rest your eyes or if your vision is no longer perfect.
- Go to the page My settings: General settings
- Choose the display mode that suits you best:
- Click on the button at the bottom of the page
Tip: Yu can also activate this mode at the bottom of each page of the website by ticking the "Comfort mode" box : 
To deactivate it, just uncheck it.
Login to your account from a specific location
In some countries computer security - and therefore the protection of your data - cannot be guaranteed. This setting gives you the possibility to exclude the connection from a country that is considered to be at risk. If you choose "Only countries who information technology is deemed secure", an error message will be displayed when trying to log in from a country that is not considered secure enough: "Your user settings on the Delcampe website do not allow connections from this location".
- Go to the page My settings: General settings
- Choose from which location you want to be able to connect to the Delcampe website:
