Purchase limits

This article covers the following topics:

Why are there purchase limits?

The limits are intended to protect you personally and to protect our sellers. In addition, purchase limits enable us to reduce the risk of unpaid items.

The limits are not intended to penalise you and are not a reflection on your reliability.

Note: The limits are set by Delcampe, not by the sellers. We are not able to remove the limits, even if a seller asks us to.

How can the limits be removed?

We remove the limits when we see that the purchases made by a member are legitimate and have been paid for.

We track changes via the ratings.

If you are a new buyer, your limit can be raised as your ratings profile improves.

We can also raise the limits for buyers who confirm their identity via postal verification.
